Description :
We are a USA based University, looking for qualified and experienced service provider to deliver software and a web-based service which will help our Students and Employees to securely deposit funds from a credit or debit card. Initially the contract will be of 2 years with an option to extend it further for (3) annual terms.
Functional Requirements:
1) Through the service provider’s website which will linked to our website, students and employees can:
a) use a credit / debit card to deposit funds, review online deposits made at the site, review deposits and purchases made for the past two months, view other University debit account balances (such as dining points), etc.
b) allow other users of the website, such as parents, to ONLY make a deposit without having access to account information
2) The Service Provider will be responsible for processing all deposits in real-time, and providing all reports necessary to reconcile credit/debit card payment activity with bank statements.
3) The Service Provider must also provide ongoing support and maintenance for their website.
4) The website must have a customized logon for students and employees that is password protected and connected to the University CAS-based authentication system.
5) Depositors will be sent an email from the vendor confirming the status of their online deposit (describing if the deposit succeeded or failed). The email will be sent to the email address typed in when the deposit was made.
6) The software shall be hosted by the Service Provider and will integrate with the CBord CSGold Systems 5.0.12 or higher
7) The software will verify that an account is active or cause the transaction to fail.
8) The software web site must be compatible, without requiring website users to install additional software, with the follow web browsers:
a) Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 and higher.
b) Mozilla Firefox 2.0 and higher.
c) Apple Safari 2.0 and higher.
9) The software must use the credit card Security Code for all transactions.
10) In the event that the software is not functioning properly, the vendor must have the ability to shut down the deposit feature of the website and post a message so that users know the deposit feature of the website is unavailable.
We are looking for best proposals and payment terms are negotiable. Interested parties are requested to send their proposals on or before 14:00 Hrs on October 5, 2009. A Mandatory Pre-proposal Conference will be held on September 14, 2009, 10:00 a.m. local time. This tender is Global and Offsite. Service Providers may have to visit our location for meetings and briefings.
