b) Storage of data,
c) Search and retrieval capabilities for achieving as per the requirement
d) Email communication within employees
e) Disaster recovery, Business research, Historical archives, etc.
f) Advanced, robust, and easy to use search and retrieval capabilities and features are important considerations for the selection of the e-mail archiving solution.
g) ITS customers must use the Exchange E-Mail Service in order to avail themselves of the archiving
Description Approximate Value of emails
a) Approximate number of legitimate e-mails sent and received daily – average number of incoming messages is 680,000 and average number of outgoing messages is 320,000 – approx 1 million
b) Number of e-mails filtered out daily due to viruses or spam - approx 5 million
c) Current storage volume of e-mail - approx 17TB
d) Average incoming message size - approx 81K
e) Average outgoing message size - approx 133K
f) Average size of all e-mails sent and received daily - approx 82GB
g) Approximate number of system-wide e-mail accounts - approx 41,000
