Description:

We are USA based university. We are looking for a provider for our requirement of Web based E-mail & Contact Management Software. The University is seeking a hosted software solution to manage the student-athlete recruiting process for the department. The University currently has 26 intercollegiate sports. The system must be designed to address the specific communications needs of coaches and compliance officers in terms of maintaining databases of contacts, creating mass emails, managing email messages including tracking received, opened, read email and responses from prospective recruits. Payment terms based on RFP.

Core Requirements:
  1. Core Requirements: The University prefers that the system be operable through browser types ( Windows XP, IE 6, 7, Mozilla Firefox 2, Mac OS 10.4 +, Safari 2, 3, Firefox 2).
  2. Web based: The system shall be Web based and accessible from any type of device which can operate the browser’s listed above.
  3. Provider System: Must be able to guarantee 95% uptime on their system. Routine maintenance must be scheduled for evenings and weekends.
  4. Database: System should utilize a robust database engine. Oracle (version 10G, rev 2 or higher) or MS SQL 2005 are preferred platforms.
  5. Graphical Interface: The end user and administrative software should have a graphical user interface runs on standard Windows XP and Windows Vista workstations on a multi-user local area network or via the internet.
Email Messaging Capabilities:
  1. System must have email templates that can be utilized to develop mass emails. Mass email messaging and design templates must include options for data merging.
Support:

Requires a Toll free technical support number provided for 24 hour customer support, 365 days a year (24x7x365). Online support must be available 24x7x365, including support by instant messaging.

Interested providers are requested to apply on or before 13th June, 2008 by 12:00PM. Last date to submit questions regarding this RFP is 23rd May, 2008.
