We are USA based organization looking for qualified and experienced service provider (From USA Only) for our requirement of SAP Remote Administration Service. Contract will be for 1 year and extendable for 1 more year depends upon performance.
Scope of Service:
[A] We are looking for qualified service provider to provide SAP remote administration services.
[B] Our objective is to obtain pricing for SAP remote administration. We will select a system service provider to assume responsibility via remote LAN connection for the SAP application, 12 hours per day, 5 days per week.
[C] BASIS Support and Systems Administration Support – We are looking for basic and systems admin support including: creating security profiles, user IDs, transports, SAP software patch management, database management, performance tuning and capacity management. We are not looking for SAP functional support at this time.
[D] Uptime Commitment- Service provider must describe their commitment to assisting us in achieving continuous uptime in the Production, Test, and Development environments. Service provider need to define in terms and numbers expected penalties for system downtime caused by system administration deficiencies on the part of the vendor in the Production system, as well as the other environments.
[E] Help Desk and Incident Response – Service provider must describe in detail their help desk, ticketing environment and escalation processes. Service provider must describe staff skill sets and how adequate coverage is ensured.
We are looking for the best proposals and payment terms are negotiable. Interested service providers are requested to submit proposals on or before 15:00 Hrs by October 22, 2009. Last data for Question-Answer is September 30, 2009. This tender is Onshore and Offsite. Provider may have to visit our locations for meetings and briefings.

I-T Dept Conducts Searches at Software Firm Tulip

The Income Tax department today conducted searches at various premises of IT company Tulip Telecom for alleged evasion of taxes running into crores of rupee.

According to sources in the I-T department, searches are being conducted in at least six to seven premises in the national capital region by 40 officials.

A spokesperson of Tulip Telecom said he has "no official communication" on the incident and would not be able to comment.

Some survey operations related to the same firm were also conducted at Jammu two days ago.

Tulip Telecom is a data telecom service and IT solutions provider. According to the official website of the company, it has "revenues in excess of Rs 16,14.40 crore ($322 million) in the financial year ending 31st March 2009 and a market capitalisation in excess of Rs 2,131.50 crores ($426 million as on 31st March 2009)".

Tulip shares are listed on bourses. Its shares on BSE today closed at over Rs 954.90, a gain of over Rs 13 from its previous closing.

Tulip Telecom plans to launch value-added services, such as push mail and corporate internet services, for the corporate sector in a few months.

We are an India based organization, inviting tenders from qualified and experienced service provider (From India Only) to provide 3D simulation software. We are a research institute functioning as a centre for applied research in electrical power engineering. We are looking to have a 3D simulation and analysis software installed at our research laboratory.
Functional Requirements:
1) General: the software shall have provisions,
a) to easily draw 2D and 3D models of HV electrical equipment like insulator, circuit breaker etc;
b) to import models from standard CAD packages;
c) to apply the electrical properties like permittivity, conductivity, voltages, frequency;
d) to use different unit system like SI, CGS for geometric and physical properties;
e) to present results in various types of plots;
f) to output results to text/excel files for further analysis;
g) to optimize certain components/ parameters of the model, by varying parameters like geometry, physical properties;
2) Service Provider shall provide two hard copies of the user guide, in English, for the software.
3) Any updates to the software, shall be provided for three years, free of cost.
4) Service Provider shall provide all technical assistance, for a period of two years, for any problems during usage of software, free of cost.
We are looking for Best Proposals. Cost of tender document is 500 INR. EMD required will be 42000 INR.
