Software provider seeks more government jobs

SOFTWARE provider Interactive Intelligence Inc (ININ) intends to secure more Malaysian government projects through its partners as a way to expand its customer base.

Its vice-president for worldwide sales Gary R. Blough said ININ would work with partner Daro Worldwide Sdn Bhd to secure more government projects as the latter was strong in that segment.

“Our partner is currently in advanced talks with some ministries to provide our software for their contact centres,” he told StarBiz.

The Nasdaq-listed entity is a provider of unified business communications solutions for contact centre automation, enterprise IP telephony and enterprise messaging.

Headquartered in Indianapolis in the United States, the company’s revenue from global business was US$109.9mil in 2007, up 32% from 2006.

On its growth strategies, Blough said ININ would seek more partners in Malaysia and strengthen its ties with existing partners.
