We are Canada based organization. We have a requirement of web based content management system and website re-design for our existing website. We are looking for experienced and qualified service provider who can make our website with improved content management, enhancing the navigation scheme, and adding business functionality with a view to enhancing speed, security and developing e-commerce capability in the future. After re-design we need website to provide enhanced customer service for the future given directions in technology and customer expectations.

Scope of Work:

1. The current website is hosted by a third-party on a Linux platform running PHP and MySQL. We expect that the site is developed according to current best practices, regulatory, and security standards.
2. A non-proprietary content administration / management system is also required that facilitates simple, and timely maintenance of content (images, text, documents, and multi-media).
3. Service provider must take care that website includes organizational information and contact information for departments and services.
4. Both the website and the content management system must be user-friendly, have intuitive user interface, navigation and site content organization, allow for multiple administrative users and be web-based.
5. The service provider will re-design the website that includes news releases and notices to the public, emergency services information, community information for residents and visitors, parks & recreation facilities information and online registration and also, access to official documentation such as reports, publications, applications, bylaws and etc....
6. The website will be with maps, including aerial photos, online payment services, flash, video and audio streaming and also RSS feeds.
   

Payment will be done partially as the work gets done. Interested service providers are requested to send their proposal on or before January 15, 2009 before 3:00 pm via courier, post and hand delivery only. This tender is global and offsite.
