We are UK based organization wishes to enter into an agreement with a supplier for the development, maintenance and support of the Grouper software. This will be used by organization to group data items from their local Patient Administration systems or national commissioning data set extracts into Healthcare Resource Groups (HRGs), which are used for payment under the Department of Health initiative Payment by Results (PbR). The agreement is anticipated to include, but is not limited to, producing releases of the HRG4 grouper to support:
A. An annual national costing exercise,
B. Sense Checking of the national tariff,
C. Future Planning for the national tariff, and
D. In-year payment on the national tariff.
Extra releases may be required depending on requirements. Each release must be fully tested, maintained and supported by the supplier.
