We are USA based reputed University looking for qualified and experienced service provider for our requirement of Software Development Services. Service provider needs to provide ongoing maintenance service for library software and application. Contract will be for 1 year and extendable for 4 more years depends upon performance.

Scope of Service:
A) Service provider needs to provide Software Development Services for University Libraries.
B) We are using many internally created database applications and external database applications. We want service provider to provide maintenance and troubleshooting for that.
C) Our applications must be available 24 X 7.
D) We will provide remote access to our software and applications to the selected Service provider.
E) Interested service provider needs to attend mandatory pre-proposal conference in USA on August 4, 2009. Deadline to send confirmation to participate in conference is July 31, 2009 via email, So this RFP will no available after July 31, 2009

Our approximate budget is 200000 USD per year and payment terms are negotiable. Interested service providers are requested to submit RFP on or before 14:00 Hrs on August 18, 2009 via post, currier or hand delivery only. This tender is Global and Offsite. Software Industry Targets $54 Bn Exports By 2010

Slowdown hit, India's software exporters are exploring new markets in the middle east and Africa to increase IT exports by 10 per cent and touch USD 54 billion in the current fiscal.

IT software exports were valued at USD 49.5 billion in 2008-09, which was about 14 per cent more than that in 2007-08.

"We are not expecting much growth in exports in 2009-10 due to the global slowdown," Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) Executive Director D K Sareen said. The ESC, however, has set a higher target for growth in electronics hardware exports, he added.

Scope of Service:

1. Service Provider would be responsible for draft and implement policies and procedures for establishing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
