We are UK based organization. We are looking for qualified and experienced service provider for our requirement of Development of CRM Systems. The provider will develop and install a CRM system for our organization. The contract will be from 1st October, 2009 to 1st April, 2010. Our estimated budget is 250000 GBP.
Scope of services:

1. A CRM system is required to manage all contacts we receive from a variety of sources and from a variety of communication channels.
2. The system will need to integrate with the housing system; asset management system; repairs system provided to our main reactive repair provider.
3. The system will be used to provide proactive services based on the information held about customers and potential customers.
   

Payment terms are negotiable. Interested service providers are requested to send their expression of interest on or before 12th June, 2009 via e-mail, courier or hand delivered only. IBM Offers Trial 'System S' Software For Stream Computing

IBM (NYSE:IBM) released IBM System S, a trial version of its previously experimental super-fast stream computing software for analyzing massive amounts of data in realtime.

IBM also said it is opening the IBM European Stream Computing Center in Dublin, Ireland, which will carry out research, customer support and advanced testing for European customers who apply stream computing to their business processes.

System S is designed for what IBM called "perpetual analytics," the analysis of continuous streams of data such as stock trades, retail sales and weather. IBM said the technology is capable of analyzing hundreds or even thousands of simultaneous data streams and providing realtime analysis to financial traders, retail managers, government agencies and others.

Last month IBM and TD Securities unveiled a prototype of what they called the world's fastest automated options trading system based on the System S technology running on IBM's Blue Gene supercomputer. At the time IBM called the new software "InfoSphere Streams."

We are New Zealand based small organization having around 109 staff members. We are looking for qualified and experience service provider for our requirement of software & system development. We are looking to develop Web based Electronic Document Management System. Our estimated budget is 200000 NZD (New Zealand Dollars).
Scope of services:

1. Users should not be able to alter the record or its metadata, but they may be permitted to create a new record by adding to the content, structure, or context.
2. Enable records to be assigned to multiple folders (at any level) without them being duplicated.
3. Assign metadata either as a standard set across the system, and/or by higher aggregation, and/or depending on document type or some other metadata element.
4. Be 100% web deployable requiring no additional software and with centralized administration functionality.
5. Allow the publishing/rendering of selected records from their native format (e.g. Word, email) to other formats, such as HTML, PDF etc.
6. Allow email, and any attachments, to be stored together or separately in the system. When the email is opened, and viewed, it must reassemble the email and any attachments without loss of context (as they would be viewed in the mail client).
7. Be able to make good use of Microsoft Offices template facility.
8. Support up to 100 GB of storage and up to 500,000 electronic office documents with annual growth of around 20%.
9. Support up to at least 150 staff and up to 50 concurrent user transactions.

Microsoft unveils its first online management service

Initial version of desktop service will focus on software updates, security issues

Microsoft Corp. has unveiled System Center Online Desktop Manager, the first online service built around its management tools.

The initial version will provide desktop management capabilities that are focused on software updates, protection from spyware and malware, monitoring, group policy and configuration management, asset management, update management and remote assistance. Microsoft plans to update the service on a regular cycle.

The company demonstrated the service during the Wednesday keynote at the Microsoft Management Summit. (See the first pictures of the Online Desktop Manager interface shown at MMS here, here, here and here.)

The online service is built on the same underlying technology that powers Windows Update, which last month updated 650 million PCs around the world.
